[Helping to spread a message from Garage+ in Taiwan~]
Taiwan is a nation with the advanced medical technology, high-quality infrastructure, and potential aging markets nearby. In 2016 worldview a global biotechnology perspective from Scientific American, Taiwan’s business friendly environment, biotechnology venture capital availability, business friendly environment, biotechnology venture capital availability, business R&D expenditures per GDP and infrastructure quality rank tops worldwide. According to The National Geographic Channel, Taiwan’s medical technology is awarded Top 1 in Asia. Furthermore, Taiwan is world renowned ICT key players in the global supply chain, with solid global business capabilities.
Based on these advantages, we would like to invite startups in the Digital Health sector who are exploring business in Asia markets or looking for partners and investors in Asia to join the Startup Global Program between 22nd May to 2nd June. For the 10-day visitation, we will cover the flight tickets and accommodation, and facilitate them to meet with international companies, investors, and business partners. Besides, we will lead startups to “COMPUTEX”, one of the world’s most well-known exhibitions in the ICT industry.
This is the 4th such program we have run since 2015. Over the past 2 years, 33 startups were invited to Taiwan and 1/3 of them were in talks with corporations or raising investment due to connections made during the program.
We sincerely welcome the startups in Digital Health sector including genomics and sequencing, analytics and big data, wearables and biosensing, telemedicine, digital medical devices, population health management, etc. to join us.
