Starting with Blockchain 101
Following the cosy Blockchain session with Vitalik Buterin on 03 June, the intriguing topic generated much interest among TechCircle members. Thanks to ACCESS (The Singapore Cryptocurrency and Blockchain Industry Association – or previously known as Association of Cryptocurrency Enterprises and Startups Singapore), 30 members were given a 101 on the digital ledger last evening (for some, it was probably their first!)
David Moskowitz (Board Member of ACCESS and CEO of Attores, Coin Republic), together with Scott Bales (Board Member and Innovation & Digital Executive of ACCESS) spent almost 2 hours sharing some very fascinating facts about the Blockchain concept and its history; and presented interesting real -life analogies to ensure that members walked away with a clearer understanding of the seemingly mysterious concept.
